  • The NCV7748 is an automotive eight channel low−side driver providing drive capability up to 0.75 A per channel. Output control is via a LIN bus with optimized LIN command set allowing high flexibility while still maintaining compliance to SAE J2602 LIN specification.

  • 8 CH LS Drivers - Outputs used to drive socketed and PCB mounted relays
  • Fault reporting for open load (Short to GND) and short to battery conditions - Notification if shorts are present
  • Over current shutdown - Protects outputs against short condition
  • Virtual node concept - Can control up to 32 relays with a single LIN command
  • Low Iq current in sleep mode - Lower drain on the battery
  • Over temperature detection and shutdown - Protects against abnormal increase in junction temperature
  • Power on reset and under voltage detection - Predictable operation of the device when supply voltage drops low
